Running out of time is the biggest reason why couples skip over the bride and groom portraits, so it’s important to plan for at least 30-minutes to an hour for newlyweds to step away and capture wedding day pictures.

Jayna and Mike shared their special day amongst family and friends and had such an amazing day. Their wedding vision was simple and elegant: whites and creams with lush green. The Lake House has no shortage of greenery around, so instead of competing with it, the decided to keep their decor minimalistic and complimentary. Having their ceremony in the secret garden, they finished up with a reception under the lakeside pavilion. The weather was perfect, the sunset out of this world – and you just can’t really ask for too much more than that as a wedding photographer! The first look between Jayna and Mike was so sweet, too.
