Running out of time is the biggest reason why couples skip over the bride and groom portraits, so it’s important to plan for at least 30-minutes to an hour for newlyweds to step away and capture wedding day pictures.

Vero Beach Art Museum Engagement Session

Vero Beach Art Museum

An upscale engagement session at the Vero Beach Art Museum

Classic and timeless. Those are definitely the two words that come to mind with this art museum inspired engagement session with Doug and Tian Tian. I love it when my couples put a lot of thought into their outfits for the engagement session and how it’s going to look in the location that we choose. Want the secret recipe to bright, romantic engagement photos? A neutral color scheme, light airy clothing, and definitely a little bit of architecture. And you might not think there are not many options for that look in little old Vero Beach, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve!

As you’re about to see, Doug and Tian Tian totally nailed this high-fashion look with a light suit and creme colored jumpsuit with those killer stilettos. I shouldn’t really be surprised that they dress to the nines because they live in London and were here in Vero visiting family. And would you believe me if I told you it must have seriously been at least 100 degrees outside? Not to mention so humid, you could fill a cup with the moisture in the air.

You can also *secretly* congratulate these two because the day after taking these engagement photos – they ELOPED and are now happily living life as husband and wife.
