5 Reasons To Do A First Look

Should you have a first look on your wedding day? Disclaimer: YES you should, but let me tell you why.

Wedding Day Tips for Florida Brides

It’s become an essential part of my client experience to educate my brides on what works and what does not work for beach weddings in Florida. And now, I am sharing the knowledge!

Planning Your Wedding Day Photography Timeline

Here’s a sample of our wedding photography timeline we suggest to all our Ardensea brides and grooms!

Making Bride & Groom Portraits a Priority on Your Wedding Day

Running out of time is the biggest reason why couples skip over the bride and groom portraits, so it’s important to plan for at least 30-minutes to an hour for newlyweds to step away and capture wedding day pictures.

Best Detail Shots for Your Wedding Day

When it comes to planning out your wedding photography, consider the little details that have a surprisingly big impact. See which shots are absolute must-haves on your wedding day.

Tiffany & Chris

Twisted Oak Farm

Rustic Charm at Twisted Oak Farm in Vero Beach

Dreamy, boho, vintage, and a horse?!  This bride and groom portrait session has it all! Tiffany and Chris posed for some styled wedding photos at Twisted Oak Farm, a new and coming Vero Beach wedding venue with a touch of rustic charm.

It was my first time shooting at this great venue, and it definitely is the type of venue that has something for everyone! Large mossy oaks, wide-open fields, and a charming farmhouse barn for the perfect mix of class and country for any wedding reception. Kathy Peterson (@kpi_vintage_weddings on Instagram) did an amazing job finding the perfect little details to style this shoot. Romantic, southern charm is what comes to mind for me! Perhaps it’s the vintage glassware, hanging wedding cake, hand painted candies, or maybe the macramé. No, I definitely think it’s the horse. This just sets the mood, am I right?

And with a stallion of a companion, you can’t help but feel giddy and cozy looking at these photos. Tiffany and Chris are obviously perfect together, the chemistry and connection between them are truly deep and authentic. This awesome bride and groom portrait session included an amazing crew of vendors, all of which you can follow on Instagram with the handles below!
