Running out of time is the biggest reason why couples skip over the bride and groom portraits, so it’s important to plan for at least 30-minutes to an hour for newlyweds to step away and capture wedding day pictures.

Sunny Wedding with Photo and Video at Costa d’Este

Experience the enchanting wedding of Marissa and Chris at Costa d'Este Resort, Vero Beach.

Marissa and Chris’s story is one for the books – it’s like they were always meant to find each other. Their first date? Picture this: a playful round of mini-golf followed by sushi, back on a sunny Saturday in May. Right from the start, there was this comfortable vibe between them, as if they’d known each other for ages.

The moment Marissa knew Chris was ‘the one’? It was during one of those ordinary evenings, just chatting on the couch in his apartment. They talked about everything – the tough stuff, the light stuff – and it was just so easy. That kind of connection, where you can be completely open and still feel right at home, is pretty rare.

One of their best dates was a spontaneous Sunday afternoon in Downtown Stuart. They strolled along the water, hopping from one restaurant to another. It was all about good food, good drinks, and even better company – a day that felt utterly carefree.

Marissa and Chris love their dogs, cherish their family, and can’t live without each other. Their ideal weekend? Grabbing coffee, walking by the water, and maybe catching a round of pickleball. They’re the kind of couple who’s always up for a weekend adventure or a casual drive around, scouting out dream houses.

Dream date? They’d be off to a tropical resort, phones off, just soaking up the sun, snorkeling, and trying out all sorts of water sports. And when it comes to food, Chris can’t resist a good bourbon, while Marissa’s all about those cucumber mint vodka drinks.

As for their wedding day at Costa d’Este Resort and Spa in Vero Beach – it was everything they’d hoped for. An intimate affair with 40-50 guests, wrapped in elegance and simplicity. The venue was decked out in white and sage, a perfect backdrop for their rustic yet formal style.

They chose “Prayed for You” by Matt Stell for their first dance – a song that really speaks to their journey together. And yes, they did the first look! Always a heartwarming moment. The reception in the Crystal Ball Room was just as enchanting, with a cozy sweetheart table for the newlyweds.

Photography was key for them – they wanted shots in front of the resort’s fountain, under the night lights, and by the beach. As a photographer, I live for these moments, capturing the love and laughter in such beautiful settings.

Marissa and Chris’s wedding was a true reflection of their journey together – simple, heartfelt, and just a bit dreamy. For couples looking for a similar vibe for their own special day, my camera and I are ready to capture your story. Reach out and let’s make your wedding memories last a lifetime!

The highlight of Marissa and Chris’s wedding day had to be the epic nighttime photoshoot under the enchanting night lights of the Costa d’Este Resort. As the sun set and the resort lit up, we captured some truly magical moments. The twinkling lights created a romantic, almost fairytale-like atmosphere, perfect for showcasing their love. The resort’s fountain, with its gentle waters and soft illumination, served as a stunning backdrop. Chris and Marissa, basking in the glow of the lights, shared intimate looks and laughter, creating images that were not just photographs, but timeless pieces of art. These photos under the night sky, filled with love and a touch of glamour, perfectly encapsulated the essence of their beautiful wedding day.
