I have been so excited to share Lane and Graham’s gorgeous wedding day! If you’re dreaming of a romantic and timeless wedding that’s effortlessly elegant (but totally approachable and fun!), you’re absolutely going to adore their special day at Crane Club Tesoro.
Lane and Graham first crossed paths through mutual friends back in October of 2018. Don’t you just love when friendships lead to forever romances? Their first date was at Pizza Rustica on Atlantic Avenue, and Lane shared the cutest story: Graham was so nervous he barely spoke a word! Of course, Lane found this adorable, and despite his quietness, she had the best time. Clearly, sparks flew anyway, because they’ve been inseparable ever since, officially celebrating their dating anniversary every October 12th.
Lane confessed that marriage was something she wanted to thoughtfully consider, so it took about three years for her to fully open her heart to the idea. But when she did, there was no doubt Graham was the one. He finally popped the question on Christmas Eve of 2023—talk about the ultimate holiday gift!
If you’re looking at venues right now, let me tell you: Crane Club Tesoro is pure magic. Located in gorgeous Port Saint Lucie, Florida, it’s the ideal venue if you’re picturing an outdoor ceremony with lush, dreamy backdrops. Lane and Graham’s ceremony was out on the club’s picturesque patio, bathed in soft natural light (and yes, there was even a perfect rain backup plan just in case—a cocktail room ready to transform if needed!).
This venue truly has that timeless, classic vibe with plenty of elegant spaces for those dreamy bride-and-groom portraits. As their photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a better setting to match Lane and Graham’s romantic, classic style!
Lane described their wedding vibe as romantic, formal, elegant, and even a bit extravagant (which was spot-on!). The neutral color palette they chose was so soft and sophisticated, perfectly complementing Crane Club Tesoro’s timeless aesthetic. Think lots of creams, whites, champagne, and subtle earth tones—so elegant yet beautifully understated.
Lane wore a stunning gown from The White Magnolia with a classic button back detail, and her shoes were none other than Manolo Blahnik—talk about a bride with fantastic taste! To make her bridal look even more special, she borrowed a beautiful veil from her sister. These sweet touches added such sentimental value.
This day was filled with so much genuine emotion. Lane’s stepfather lovingly walked her halfway down the aisle to meet her father, who then walked her the rest of the way to Graham. It was such an intentional way of honoring both these important men in her life, and the emotions captured were absolutely priceless.
Lane and Graham made their day personal in so many thoughtful ways: from adorable DIY elements like personalized cocktail napkins and a welcome sign to a large framed photo that celebrated their journey. They even had a string trio playing during the ceremony and cocktail hour (trust me, this added so much elegant romance!).
With around 150 of their closest family and friends celebrating with them, Lane and Graham’s reception felt cozy and intimate while still being perfectly elegant. Their seated dinner offered beef, fish, chicken, and vegetarian options, ensuring everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. And guess what? They even had a cigar roller at the reception—a fun detail that guests absolutely loved!
Their first dance to “La Vie En Rose” by Louis Armstrong felt like a scene straight out of a movie. I mean, can you imagine anything more romantic?
Lane mentioned she loved natural, candid photos—those sweet, unstaged moments where Graham looks at her with pure joy (even when she doesn’t notice). And, let me tell you—these were my absolute favorite to capture! This wedding day was truly a blend of classic portraits and authentic documentary moments that really showed off Lane and Graham’s genuine connection.
They chose to do a first look, allowing them to have a private moment together before the ceremony. I seriously recommend this to all my couples because it creates beautiful, intimate photos and helps calm any wedding-day nerves. They also planned family portraits before cocktail hour, giving them time to enjoy relaxed portraits together during sunset. Seriously dreamy!
To end their perfect day, Lane and Graham exited in a vintage Cadillac. Honestly, is there anything cooler than a classic car exit? It was just the right amount of old-school charm to top off their elegant celebration.
