Making Bride & Groom Portraits a Priority on Your Wedding Day

Running out of time is the biggest reason why couples skip over the bride and groom portraits, so it’s important to plan for at least 30-minutes to an hour for newlyweds to step away and capture wedding day pictures.

Iconic Palm Beach-Inspired Wedding at Sea Oaks Beach & Tennis Club

Molly & John

Molly and John throw it down with an epic party at their Sea Oaks wedding.

Diving into Molly and John’s wedding day was like stepping into a page from a sun-drenched, Palm Beach-inspired fairytale. From the get-go, as I captured their getting-ready moments at the Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel, the vibe was electric with anticipation and joy. Their day wasn’t just a series of events; it was a journey from heartfelt tradition to an epic, palm-fringed celebration under the stars.

The story of how Molly and John’s paths crossed is straight out of a college romance novel – a tale woven through shared experiences and a deep connection that only grew stronger over time. Documenting their wedding day, I felt like I was bringing chapters of their story to life, with every photo telling a part of their journey.

Their choice to exchange vows through a traditional Catholic Mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church added a timeless elegance to their day. It was inspiring to witness such a sacred moment, capturing the depth of their commitment and the serenity of their love in a setting steeped in tradition.

But let’s talk about the transformation as we moved from the solemnity of the church to the vibrant, poolside reception at Sea Oaks Beach and Tennis Club. It was here that the “Palm Beach vibes” truly came to life. The iconic palm beach pink and green tones were everywhere – from the floral arrangements to the bridesmaids’ dresses, and even in the smallest decor details. This wasn’t just a nod to Molly’s hometown; it was a full embrace of a style that screams elegance, fun, and a touch of whimsy.

Watching John take over the DJ booth was a blast – literally the embodiment of “good vibes only.” Capturing him in his element, surrounded by friends and family letting loose on the dance floor, was a highlight for me. It was a vivid reminder that at the heart of every wedding is a celebration – a celebration of love, of journeys shared, and new ones beginning.

The afterparty at Sailfish Brewery was the cherry on top of an already perfect day. It’s not every day you get to see a wedding party keep the energy soaring until the early hours. Molly and John, surrounded by their closest friends and family, truly made the most of every moment, and being there to capture it all was an absolute joy.

As a wedding photographer, Molly and John’s wedding was a dream wedding. Their day was a rich tapestry of moments that spanned the spectrum of emotions, from the solemnity of their vows to the uninhibited joy of their reception. Their Palm Beach-inspired theme, with its playful yet elegant pink and green palette, added a layer of visual delight to the celebration, making every shot a vibrant piece of their story.

This wedding was a testament to Molly and John’s personalities – a blend of tradition, fun, and a keen eye for style. For couples looking to infuse their big day with similar vibes – whether it’s the elegance of a traditional ceremony or the laid-back luxury of a beachside reception – I’m here to capture it all. Your wedding is a collection of moments, each as unique as your love story, and I’d be thrilled to help you immortalize them. Reach out, and let’s make your wedding photography dreams come true.

A rare moment when we actually remember to get a photo with our amazing couples!
