Planning Your Wedding Day Photography Timeline

Here’s a sample of our wedding photography timeline we suggest to all our Ardensea brides and grooms!

Making Bride & Groom Portraits a Priority on Your Wedding Day

Running out of time is the biggest reason why couples skip over the bride and groom portraits, so it’s important to plan for at least 30-minutes to an hour for newlyweds to step away and capture wedding day pictures.

Best Detail Shots for Your Wedding Day

When it comes to planning out your wedding photography, consider the little details that have a surprisingly big impact. See which shots are absolute must-haves on your wedding day.

Fairytale Estate Wedding

Bellewood Plantation

So this is love? It is when you have a romantic fantasy-inspired fairytale wedding like Ilse and JT at Bellewood Plantation!

You may remember them from their Christmas-themed engagement session from last year – and how perfect was that with their December fairytale wedding? And these newlyweds celebrated their day with literally everything I love… a ton of details, a beautiful bright and white estate house, perfect weather, a taco bar, and a freakin donut wall. (Yes… they were absolutely scrumptious!)

Bellewood Wedding with a Touch of Magic

This magical wedding day was nothing short of a dream come true. The details included so many hidden touches of magic. First, we have John’s adorable mouse ear cufflinks, and a set of bride & groom mouse ears, too!

Their grand reception entrance included a stunning horse-drawn carriage – can you believe it? If that doesn’t let you know it’s full fairytale status, I don’t know what will!

We even finished the evening with his & hers mouse ear portraits and sparkler exit! Honestly, it doesn’t get better than that.

Personal & Cultural Traditions

As Ilse grew up with her church being like a second home to her, it was super important to highlight her Catholic faith and Mexican traditions on her wedding day. Mexican cuisine, a mariachi band, and beautiful rosaries keep her love of her heritage and God close by. What a great day to be a catholic wedding photographer!
