An elegant oceanside wedding at Costa d’Este Resort & Spa
Lauren and Matt celebrated their elegantly simple beach wedding at Costa D’este Resort & Spa in Vero Beach. They came all the way from Ohio to get hitched, and that made their wedding day all the more special. One thing I love about Costa is that it has the perfect combination for a couple with a destination wedding! Get ready at one of their gorgeous suites on the top floor of the hotel, have your ceremony right on the beach, and then finish up with your reception in their absolutely breathtaking event space! They have that perfect outdoor patio for cocktail hour and the resort itself has so much variety for an amazing bride and groom photos. Not to mention – the staff there is so wonderful! They take care of all the wedding vendors, which is not something that you can always count on with a busy beach resort!
So many brides & grooms have expressed to me how much they loved having their wedding here. And by the photos below of Lauren and Matt, I am sure you can see why! Our quiet little town of Vero Beach isn’t quite the best-kept secret it used to be! When I asked them why they chose to travel all the way to Florida for their wedding, they told me:
We are going with Costa d’Este Beach Resort & Spa and we both decided we wanted a beach wedding because our families are so far apart. And a beach wedding is always nice!
Isn’t that too funny! I mean, they aren’t wrong by any means! And they couldn’t have chosen a better location for their wedding photography. To be their wedding photographer of choice was truly an honor, I really enjoyed spending this special day with such a sweet couple.
Matt and Lauren met through a mutual friend in Oklahoma at a concert. Since being together, they relocated several times, but once they settled in Ohio they planned a much-anticipated area called Hocking Hills, full of beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls.
While we were on our hike we stopped for water and he pulled out a water bottle I was unfamiliar with. I, of course, being so nosey, the first words out of my mouth were, “Where did you get that from?”, He turned the Yeti bottle around and written on the bottle was, “Will you marry me?” In complete shock, all I could do was stand there in awe as he got down on one knee! It was one of the most amazing and unexpected things I have ever experienced.
I think Matt and I both knew pretty quickly into our relationship that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. We hit it off the very first night we met and I just kept wanting to know more about him. I would say he felt the same way!
We both like the same things. We enjoy being around our families, traveling, watching sports, and loving on our puppy! We balance each other out as well and it just works. I couldn’t imagine it any other way!
Matt and I have very strong supportive and loyalty values! We both are experiencing new things with work and such and we make sure to be there for each other and let one another know we are there and always will be know matter what!
Matt and I are both open to a lot of new things! We hope to have a couple kids in the near future. We love to travel and see new things. Since we have been together we have moved two times. We like exploring new things and seeing different places!
I absolutely love shooting at the Coste D’Este resort, the staff is AMAZING and the location is perfect for sunset wedding portraits – just like my coastal inspired wedding editorial!
