I have been looking forward to debuting Sam & AJ’s wedding day on the blog for so long! When I met them last year, I just knew this wedding day would be one for the books.
How He Proposed:
Well, my fiancè and I are both into running and we do a lot of races together. On our 1 year anniversary of being together, we had done a 10k relay race. I went first and completed the first 5 miles and then my fiancè went and did his. At the quarter-mile mark, we met up and ran to the finish line holding hands together and my fiancè pulled me aside and got down on one knee and asked me to forever be his princess in front of all of our running friends. From the bride
A Garden Ceremony at Heathcote Botanical Garden
These two lovebirds decided to say “I do” at Heathcote Botanical Gardens located in Fort Pierce, FL. Walking into the garden is like stepping into an oasis – you’re immediately surrounded by lush greenery and an assortment of palms, flowers, and tropical plants. They set their ceremony on the main lawn, and shared their vows underneath the most majestic oak tree. It was an absolutely stunning moment for their family and friends.
An Elegant Reception at Vero Beach Country Club
The Vero Beach Country Club is a 100-acre private golf club nestled in the most charming area of Vero Beach. It’s surrounded by ancient live oak trees with the beautiful Spanish moss, and the green is lush and surrounds a stunning lake.
My moms friend’s daughter had her reception at the Vero Beach Country Club and she told us how elegant it was. That’s what I was looking for, and when I went to go and check it out, I immediately knew that was my dream wedding venue. From the bride
AJ and Sam danced the night away with family and friends, with enough time to sneak out to the course for a few sunset bride and groom portraits. We had the most amazing time capturing their awesome day – so much so that we woke them up at the crack of dawn to a sunset honeymoon portraits session the next morning! Can you believe that?
